Eligibility

Applicants should be non-EU citizens and either:

  1. be an International Protection Applicant, OR
  2. have been deemed a Refugee, OR
  3. have been deemed eligible for Subsidiary Protection, OR
  4. have been granted Permission to Remain in Ireland Applicants should not be eligible for the state Free Fees scheme, SUSI grants, or any other state support. Applicants should meet the academic eligibility criteria for their chosen programme (including English Language Requirements) Applicants must have (within the last two years) or intend to have completed (in 2024) either:
  5. the Leaving Certificate examination or equivalent school-leaving examination, OR
  6. a QQI/FETAC full award, OR
  7. the TU Dublin Access Foundation Programme Others
  8. Applicants may also be a Mature Applicant
  9. Applicants should be living in the Republic of Ireland at the time of application.
  10. Applicants must be attending university for the first time.
  11. Applicants should be able to produce documentary evidence to verify their status.

Award & availability

Stated amount: 271,900 Scholarships cover all fees (tuition, registration etc.), and an annual stipend of €3,000.​​​​​​​ No Information Available

  1. Applications must be submitted through the online form. Applications will open at 10.00am on 15 July, and will close at 5.00pm on 9 August. No late applications will be accepted. Applicants may be asked to provide documentary evidence to verify the information they provide in the application form.
  2. Successful applicants must be offered a place on a TU Dublin undergraduate programme of study through the CAO or be offered a place on a direct-entry full-time undergraduate programme of study at TU Dublin.
  3. Successful applicants will be ranked following assessment of their applications and verification of any supporting documents provided, with scholarships being awarded to the sixteen highest ranked applicants. Random selection will apply in instances where rankings cannot separate applicants.
  4. Successful applicants will be notified in writing as soon as possible after the deadline for acceptance of Round 1 CAO offers. Scholarships will be awarded to successful applicants entering programmes of study across all TU Dublin faculties.

Selection process

A. Scholarship applications will be assessed following the offer of a place via CAO (or via direct entry) on a TU Dublin undergraduate programme of study. B. Students must commence their undergraduate programme of study and be a registered student of the University for the scholarship to become valid.
