SHE BEGAN - INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN
In the United States (US) Universities, the International Scholarship for Women (ISW) will be granted to the women for full-time research or study. At recognized Canadian or U.S. institutes, both graduates, as well as postgraduate educations, are supported under this scholarship sponsored by SheBegan Women’s Magazine. Since 1998, the International Scholarship for Women (ISW) has been existing. The International Scholarship for Women (ISW) program offers sponsorship for women studying full-time graduate, undergraduate, or postdoctoral programs in the U.S.A. The full education funding grants are offered to the women of all countries other than Iran, to study in U.S. Universities and exemption for the women, who are ISW institution members. SheBegan invites applications for the SheBegan International Scholarship for Women (ISW) from women for full-time research or study. This scholarship aims to offer full-time sponsorship for women pursuing full-time graduate, undergraduate, or postdoctoral programs in the U.S.A. Selected candidates will get degree sponsorship of up to Rs. 26,81,888 (USD 32,000) a monthly stipend, and multiple benefits. Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be a female candidate.
- Studying full-time graduate, undergraduate, or postdoctoral programs in the U.S.A.
- Be an international student (except Iran).
Award & availability
Stated amount: 2,681,888 Selected students will get:
- Undergraduate degree sponsorship: Rs. 15,08,562 (USD 18,000).
- Master’s/first professional degree sponsorship: Rs. 23,46,652 (USD 28,000).
- Doctoral degree sponsorship: Rs. 21,79,034 (USD 26,000).
- Postdoctoral degree sponsorship: Rs. 26,81,888 (USD 32,000).
- Books & Literature expense: Rs. 83,809 (USD 1000) per year.
- Monthly stipend of Rs. 1,00,570 (USD 1,200) for an undergraduate student, Rs. 1,34,094 (USD 1,600) for a Master's student, Rs. 1,50,856 (USD 1,800) for a Doctoral Student, and flexible package for a post-doctorate student.
- Health insurance in sponsorship with Sunlife Insurance company.

Application
No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship: Step 1: Click here and download the application form. Step 2: Fill out the form and attach the necessary documents. Step 3: Apply directly to the university located in Canada or the U.S. to acquire the conditional admission letter. Step 4: Submit all the documents with the application form to ISW through aid@shebegan.com
Selection process
- The Panel of International Scholarship for Women (ISW) once a year to review applications to disburse funding for deserving students. ISW Grants are awarded on the criteria of selection and eligibility standards. Suggestions by the review panel are conditional and dependent on final sanction by the Board of Directors of ISW. In keeping with finances available in a particular financial year, fellowships are granted on a competitive base.
- No provisos exist for a reexamination of award proposals once the board has proceeded with their decision, but the rejected candidates are given a second chance to reapply in the next batch of the international women's scholarship award. ISW doesn’t offer assessments of unsuccessful or successful applications publically. Supporting documents & applications become the sole possessions of ISW & will neither be returned to the candidates. Other Info Terms and Conditions
- Candidates should clear the eligibility test presented in the application document to be screened by the assessment team. The candidate will be qualified for the ISW grant only if all the selections in the application form test segment are ‘Yes’.
- Candidates submitting IELTS with at least 6 bands don’t need an English proficiency letter from University.
- Upon receiving the applications ISW will review the applications interview selected candidates and announce the final results to disburse grant funding to the Universities.
