UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE GLOBAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP

All applicants must:

1. Hold an offer to study an eligible Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught course at the University of Dundee- a. Undergraduate - Must hold an offer for a full time, on campus course - this excludes any course in the School of Medicine or Dentistry. Note: The course must be 120 credits b. Postgraduate taught- Must hold an offer for a full time, on campus course in any academic school. Note: the course must be 180 credits, apart from PGDip in Professional Legal Practice. c. Master of Research and Masters by Research Courses are covered by this scholarship.
2. Have achieved: ​​​​​​​a. Undergraduate - UK BBB A-Level or above (or equivalent). b. Postgraduate Taught- UK 1st Class degree (or equivalent). c. Accelerated LLB programs - 2:1 class degree (or equivalent). UK Equivalencies of all Academic Qualifications are at the discretion of the University of Dundee.
3. Be classified as an International Fee-paying student by theUniversity of Dundee.
4. Not be studying a PhD Course.
5. Have a Course tuition fee of £20,600. NB: Any course which does not have a fee of this value, or above, will not be considered for this award

Stated amount: 548,136 The value of this scholarship is £5, 000 (INR 5, 48, 136)/annum and is awarded as a tuition fee waiver. No direct payment is made to any applicant.

1. The scholarship is paid in each year of applicable study: a. Undergraduate applicants can receive the scholarship for up to 5 years of progressing study. (£25, 000 (INR 27, 40, 180) over 5 years). b. Where the course is a 3.5-year Undergraduate Degree (School of Business) then the scholarship will only be applied in Year 2 onwards. c. Postgraduate Taught applicants (including Master of Research and Masters by Research) - where the course spans more than 12 months full time, and a full year tuition fee is due in each academic year, then the scholarship can be applied in both years of study.
2. Scholarships are awarded on an Unconditional basis. However, this is not linked to the Course application status.
3. Scholarships cannot be awarded on a pro-rata basis. Scholarships are limited.

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

1. There is no separate application form for the Global Excellence Scholarship.
2. The University of Dundee Admissions Team will use all information on an applicant's Course application to determine if they meet the eligibility criteria.
3. This verification process will happen at the initial Offer Stage. a. Where an applicant has 'pending' academic achievements at point of Offer, the University will not be able to confirm the scholarship until academic achievements have been submitted and verified. b. 1. UoD scholarships, bursaries and awards are subject to separate eligibility criteria and programme offer conditions which must be met. Applicants must also comply with the application process (including deadlines) indicated for each award.
2. Where the number of eligible applicants exceeds the number of available awards, UoD will select the successful applicant(s) from the pool of applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and other relevant conditions. Other Info Important Points-
3. This scholarship is applicable to the entry year to the University of Dundee only and cannot be backdated to previous years. The University will not offer a scholarship to students who have matriculated at the University onto the programme of study.
4. Applicants are unable to combine theGlobal Excellence scholarship with: a. Any other University of Dundee scholarship, except for the University of Dundee Alumni Scholarship. If an applicant is eligible for both scholarships, they can be combined to a maximum of £8,000. b. If an applicant has an externally funded scholarship that covers part of the full tuition fee, this can be awarded alongside one or more University of Dundee scholarships (provided that the total of the awards combined does not exceed the total UoD tuition fee). c. If the applicant holds a fully funded external scholarship, the Global Excellence Scholarship will be removed as all tuition fees are covered. The University will not provide theGlobal Excellence Scholarship as an additional award.
5. Should anapplicant wish to defer their entry to theUniversity of Dundee, the following rule applies: a. Deferral within the same academic year: Scholarship can also be deferred. b. Deferralto a new academic year: Scholarship cannot be deferred.
6. Clearing applicants are eligible to receive this scholarship, and eligibility will be assessed as above.
7. International College Dundee applicants are not eligible to receive the Global Excellence Scholarship. • International College Dundee applicants would instead be considered for the Progressing with Excellence Scholarship Award (ICD equivalent of Global Excellence Scholarship).
8. If an applicant changes Course before, during or after matriculation, the University reserves the right to re-assess eligibility for scholarships and may retract the Scholarship Offer should an applicant's eligibility have changed.
9. If an applicant changes Fee status or any other personal information before, during or after matriculation, the University reserves the right to re-assess eligibility for scholarships andmay retract the Scholarship Offer should an applicant's eligibility have changed.
10. If an applicant has paid their tuition fees in full prior to being awarded the Global Excellence Scholarship, the value of the scholarship will be refunded to the applicant after they have enrolled at the University of Dundee. a. Alternatively, this can be transferred to the University accommodation account balance (if applicable).
11. The scholarship is only paid to applicants in the years in which fulltuition fees are paid. This applies to applicant who may study abroad during their Undergraduate studies. The University of Dundee fees department will confirm the status of the scholarship where required.
12. All communication with the student will be via email, and to the@dundee.ac.uk email address. We may also communicate with other email addresses provided to us by the applicant. Types of communication may be: ​​​​​​​ a. Confirming the scholarship. b. Informing the applicant that they have not met the criteria to be awarded the scholarship. c. Requesting further information.
13. We are unable to disclose details of the scholarship to anyone other than the applicant unless consent is given to do so.
14. Should a student withdraw from programme of study, the University Fees department may be in contact regarding payment of fees and scholarship balance.
15. All scholarship decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
