ZURICH ONE YOUNG WORLD SCHOLARSHIP

You should apply for this scholarship if:

1. You are a young leader working in the fields of climate change, well-being, and inclusion.
2. You have demonstrated commitment to shaping a more fair, more equal society in which everyone can succeed.
3. Applications from every country are welcomed.

Stated amount: Not Available Not a traditional cash grant. This scholarship does not provide a direct lump‑sum payout but instead is a fully funded leadership scholarship that covers the costs of attendance at the One Young World Summit. Scholarship covers (no cash paid to you):

1. Full access to the One Young World Summit
2. Return international airfare to the summit location
3. Hotel accommodation for summit dates
4. Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) during summit
5. Ground transport between venues
6. Additional leadership programme activities (in some years) This scholarship is intended for 30 inspirational young leaders who share Zurich's vision for a more sustainable world.

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

1. Aged 18 to 30 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2024.

4. Willingness to engage and collaborate with fellow scholarship recipients and Zurich employees who are also attending the Summit.

6. The Z Zurich Foundation creates brighter futures together for vulnerable people. Prevention is at the forefront of our work. Our three pillars - adapting to climate change, improving mental wellbeing, and enabling social equity - are increasingly urgent, complex issues that have far-reaching impacts on individuals, communities and society as a whole.

We are building a global community dedicated to improving the mental well-being of young people, and we are providing youth with the skills, education and resources they need to reach their full potential. We believe that the key to creating a better future is connection - fostering relationships between those in the know and those most in need and tackling society’s challenges from the ground up. This is why we are committed to supporting impactful leaders to participate in the annual One Young World Summit, the world’s most international community of young leaders.
8. The Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship 2024 will allow 30 young leaders working on prevention-focused mental well-being projects, adaptation-focused climate resilience projects, or projects enabling social equity through education, employability or entrepreneurship solutions, to participate in the One Young World Summit 2024, which takes place in Montréal, Canada, from 18 - 21 September.
