4. You are able to commit to attending a majority of the workshops. The Western Union Foundation Fellowship seeks exceptional candidates who are entrepreneurs or community leaders currently at the Problem-Solution or Product-Market Fit stage, demonstrating a tangible history of impact and leadership within their community. This typically includes a track record of successfully raising funds through grants, investments, donations, or other means to support their ventures. Additionally, candidates might have a team of up to ten full-time members. Furthermore, we prioritize individuals who are fully committed to actively participating in the entire four-month program. At the heart of the program is a strong sense of community, and its success hinges on the active engagement and enthusiasm of all participants, who are eager to both learn and share.

The Fellowship begins with a virtual two-week intensive Accelerator that will focus on: Building Community Community is one of the pillars of the Fellowship experience. A diverse cohort of young leaders and entrepreneurs form partnerships, collaborations, and further their growth and integration as leaders in their community Skill Development Including growth mindset, courage, resilience, creativity, and leadership. Fellows will be guided through the process of overcoming key challenges faced during the process of becoming transformative leaders.​​​​​​​ Base camp Training Each Fellow is trained and receives a stipend and logistical support to lead a three-day Base camp in their home community to empower at least 30 additional entrepreneurial leaders per Fellow.
