WATERLOO WOMEN IN MATHEMATICS GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
Waterloo Women in Mathematics Graduate Scholarship is applicable to female students beginning the masters and doctorate programs at the University of Waterloo. The award is specifically designed for PG-level programs in the Faculty of Mathematics, at the University of Waterloo. A scholarship will be awarded annually to a full-time female graduate student enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Mathematics on the basis of academic excellence in their studies and/or research. The value of the award will be determined by the income generated by the fund each year, however, the goal is to provide at least one award valued at $3, 000 (INR 2, 51, 914) annually. - Must be a female candidate beginning a Masters's or Doctorate program at the University of Waterloo.
- Must have a first-class standing, i.e., be academically meritorious.
- Must have applied for an eligible program in Mathematics. a. Applied Mathematics. b. Combinatorics & Optimization, Computational Mathematics. c. Computer Science, Mathematics for Teachers. d. Pure Mathematics. e. Statistics & Actuarial Science.
