A. The University of Toronto Scholars Program provides recognition to U of T’s outstanding students, at admission. B. There are approximately 900 admission awards which have a value of $10,000. C. Outstanding domestic and international secondary school students are considered automatically for these awards on the basis of their average at the time of admission (applicants who have previously attended a post-secondary institution are not eligible for U of T Scholars consideration).

To be awarded to the University’s most outstanding secondary school students on admission. Recipients must be applying to the first year of direct-entry undergraduate studies

Application
No Application Fee Please apply online for the scholarship Payment of the award is conditional on full-time registration in September at the division/college/faculty making the offer (i.e. the scholarship offer is division/college/faculty specific). Students must be registered full time for both the fall and winter sessions. The funds in payment of the award will be credited to the student’s fees account following registration in September. After deduction of outstanding fees, any balance remaining will be issued by direct deposit. Please ensure your direct deposit banking information is updated on your ACORN account. Selection process
- Selections of the University of Toronto Scholars Programs are similar to any other merit-based admission scholarship at the university. Applicants are shortlisted and selected based on their academic scores.
- The university selects candidates based on interim marks and it is typically conditional depending upon achieving acceptable final standing.
