Eligibility

Global Achievement Scholarship (Undergraduate) To qualify for this scholarship, successful candidates must be: assessed as international for fee purposes self-funded (ie not receive funding from any other external sources such as government or employer sponsorship) and have: met the conditions outlined in your full-time undergraduate course offer letter secured a place for full-time study at the University of Galway on an eligible programme. accepted your offer. Cairnes School of Business and Economics. If you are selected to receive this scholarship, a letter confirming your award will be sent to you. Business Postgraduate Merit Scholarships J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics at University of Galway is offering Merit Scholarships across their suite of Business Taught Master's programmes. For international applicants, one merit scholarship is available per programme, awarded up to 50% of the tuition fees, for the majority of courses. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have achieved a H1 (or international equivalent) in their primary degree. There is no application form to be completed as part of this process. Eligible students who have accepted their offer and paid their deposit will be automatically considered by the review team. Scholarships will be awarded on a highly competitive basis. All successful applicants will be notified directly via email. Those successful will be asked to complete a short form to confirm receipt of the scholarship. College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies The College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies at University of Galway is awarding 60 Merit Scholarships across their suite of postgraduate taught programmes. The college is also offering Merit Scholarships across its portfolio of undergraduate programmes. Scholarships will be awarded on a highly competitive basis. All applicants have been considered by the review team and only successful applicants will be notified directly via email. Successful candidates will receive their scholarship in the form of a tuition fee waiver. The value of this tuition fee waiver will be €1,500 for postgraduate taught programmes and €2,000 for undergraduate programmes applicable to year 1 of the programme. Those successful will be asked to complete a short form to confirm receipt of the scholarship and to accept their offer of a place on the programme. Undergraduate steps to follow: To be considered for one of our Merit Scholarships no additional application is required. Once you have completed the steps below you are automatically considered for the merit scholarship. You must have received an offer to study on any of the Undergraduate Full Degree Programmes at the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies. You must Have accepted your offer. Paid your deposit. Postgraduate steps to follow: Have received an offer to study on any of our Postgraduate Taught Programmes at the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies. Have accepted your offer. Paid your deposit. The College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies team will notify students who are successful in securing these scholarships.

Award & availability

Stated amount: 183,300 Global Achievement Scholarship (Undergraduate) University of Galway is delighted to offer a Global Achievement Scholarship to eligible applicants, providing a €2,000 (1,83,339.12 Indian Rupee) reduction in tuition fees for their first year of undergraduate study. Business Postgraduate Merit Scholarships For international applicants, one merit scholarship is available per programme, awarded up to 50% of the tuition fees, for the majority of courses. Postgraduate Merit Scholarships - College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies​​​​​​​ Successful candidates will receive their scholarship in the form of a tuition fee waiver. Application

No Separate Application Fee is required Before applying for the scholarship, international students must have received an offer of acceptance from the university to pursue undergraduate & postgraduate studies. All successful applicants will be notified directly via email. Those successful will be asked to complete a short form to confirm receipt of the scholarship.
