University of Alberta Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship is offered to students who wish to study at the University of Alberta(UAlberta). It aims to recruit students at the doctoral level who have the potential to contribute to the University of Alberta's community and research.

Eligibility
a. Admitted to a PhD program or transferring from a MSc to a PhD program of the Department of Medicine. b. Will be registered full time in the PhD program; c. Admission GPA of 3.5 or higher; d. Is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, and international student. e. Are not being admitted, deferring, or switching to a PhD in other semesters; and f. Are not recipients of the University of Alberta Graduate Entrance Scholarship. Whereas all eligible candidates are invited to apply, preference will be given to Indigenous students, followed by international students.

Stated amount: 1,660,000 The Department of Medicine graduate program accepts applications for the Doctoral Recruitment Scholarships.
