Eligibility

  1. Applicant must hold or be on track to obtain, at least a high 2:1 (65+%) in their undergraduate degree, including 60+% in modules relevant to the M.Sc. program.
  2. Applicants must be from countries like Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka only.
  3. Indian subcontinent applicants across all Liverpool on-campus M.Sc. programs are eligible.
  4. Work experience relevant to the program would be advantageous, as would previously studying at a highly-ranked university.

Award & availability

Stated amount: Not Available a. Applicants are advised to apply at the earliest if they want to be considered for the scholarship. The course eligible is all the MSc Programmes. Though eligibility is 2:1 (65+%), it does not guarantee admission, applicants have to score really high. b. Scholarships can be extremely competitive and scoring one is a great achievement in itself so applicants are advised to write the personal statements effectively. c. ULMS Indian Subcontinent Excellence Scholarship offers wavier of 50% of the total fees and it will not include the accommodation charges. How many scholarships will be given "It varies", and depend on availability.

Application

No application is necessary. Eligible applicants will receive the award automatically. Eligible program applicants will be considered. No separate scholarship application is needed. Documents required at the time of admission into MSc programs at the University of Liverpool are :

  1. School or College transcripts/certificates
  2. University transcripts and certified translation if applicable
  3. Degree certificates
  4. Evidence of English Language proficiency
  5. Personal Statement
  6. Two references The application process might require an interview even if it is not otherwise mentioned to evaluate some candidates personally. A great positive attitude and good knowledge of the subject studied is generally advised to possess while giving the interview. Note: Scanned copies are allowed but students have to bring original documents at the time of admission.

Selection process

  1. Early program applications are advised as scholarships will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. The selection committee will review the program application along with the documents required to submit for the scholarship. Selected candidates will be informed through email and scholarship funds will be allocated to them.
