UEL INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

You cannot apply for the UEL postgraduate scholarship if:

1. you are studying with a collaborative partner institution, studying through distance or online learning, Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), Professional Diploma in March architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2), professional doctorate, MPhil, PhD and integrated masters.
2. In addition, MA Social Work students are also not eligible to apply if they receive government funding. Criteria Applicants will only be able to apply for an award if they meet all the following criteria: a. Starting a postgraduate taught certificate, diploma or master’s course at the University b. Studying full-time or part-time at one of our campuses c. The fee is assessed by our admissions team as a Home fee status. A. Applicants who do not meet the above criteria are ineligible and will not be considered for an award. B. Applicants for courses in the following categories are ineligible: Courses that are delivered online or via distance learning Postgraduate courses delivered at the University’s partner institution PGCE courses Professional Diploma in Architecture Part 2 or MArch Architecture Integrated master’s degrees Postgraduate research degrees including MPhil, PhD Professional Doctorates MA Social Work students in receipt of government funding.

Apply online using webiste, no application fees is required.

1. Before starting your application, you must make an application to start an eligible course at UEL. Once you have applied, you will be given a unique Student ID number, which you will need to submit a scholarship application.
2. Please note, if you are already enrolled on a programme at UEL, you will not be eligible to apply for a scholarship towards that programme.
3. Scholarship applications will open on January. The final deadline to submit your application is July. Applications received between January - (1st round): Decision outcomes will be communicated to applicants within three weeks of the closing date. Applications received between the period of April - (2nd round): Decision outcomes will be communicated to applicants within three weeks of the closing date. Late applications will not be accepted.

The candidates of the UEL International Postgraduate Scholarship will be selected on the basis of their academic records. Other factors affecting the selection process are:

2. ELP Scores
3. References
4. Application timelines Other Info Fee-waiver details 1.Successful applicants will have a 50% fee waiver credited to their tuition fees account.
5. If a student chooses to pay their fees in full in order to qualify for the Early Payment Discount, and are subsequently successful in receiving the scholarship, they will be entitled to a refund.
6. You may apply for multiple scholarships and bursaries but will only be entitled to keep one scholarship or one bursary or an alumni discount, whichever is the highest amount to be deducted from your tuition fees due.
