UCD GLOBAL EXCELLENCE GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

1. The scholarship is only available to students entering a new programme at UCD. Students already completing a programme will not be considered for the Global Excellence Scholarship for that programme.
2. A permanent resident or a citizen of the eligible countries. The list of eligible regional countries is tabulated below: Canada USA American Samoa Northern Mariana Islands Puerto Rico U.S. Virgin Islands Guam Bangladesh Afghanistan Bhutan India Maldives Mauritius Nepal Sri Lanka Pakistan Reunion Seychelles

For information on application fee, you may contact autorities. Eligible applicants are required to submit a separate application for UCD Global Excellence Graduate Scholarship. Interested students should follow the steps mentioned below to apply for admission to the University College:

1. Log into UCD’s online application portal using your application and password.
2. Under “My Application”- Click “Scholarship Applications”
3. Select the scholarship you want to apply for.
4. Answer all the questions.
5. Submit the application form.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

University College Dublin aims at awarding exceptionally brilliant master’s applicants with this prestigious scholarship. Applicants are, therefore, judged based on:

1. Strength of the UCD Global Excellence Graduate scholarship application.
2. Academic Achievements (GPA, standardized test scores, etc)
3. Fulfillment of eligibility criteria Other Info Preconditions a. Applicants must meet the citizenship and residence requirements given in the Regional Information section of this document. b. Scholarships are only open to self-funding candidates who are classified as non-EU for tuition fee purposes. c. Eligible programmes are limited to undergraduate and graduate taught programmes, where the student must be based in Dublin and no part of the programme is awarded by another institution. The following programmes are excluded from the Global Excellence Scholarship scheme: • Online programmes • Part-time programmes • Clinical programmes • Off-shore campus programmes d. Students progressing from the UCD International Foundation Year (IFY) to a UCD programme are ineligible for the Global Excellence Scholarship. e. Applicants to the Global Excellence Scholarship will have already obtained one of the following statuses on an application for an eligible programme: • Offer • Conditional Offer • Accept • Conditional Accept f. Applications for the Global Excellence Scholarship should be submitted in accordance with the instructions given in the Global Excellence Scholarship Application document. g. The Global Excellence Scholarship cannot be combined with any other tuitionscholarship.
