Applications are invited for the Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana. The Scholarships will be given to the top 100 girls and top 100 boys belonging to the tribal community of H.P. declared as such in the result of matric examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education Dharamshala strictly on a merit basis in a recognized Institution within or outside the State. The renewal of the scholarship in the 12th class or the second year of the course is contingent upon satisfactory performance in the internal examinations of the 11th class or the first-year course. Eligibility
- The applicant should be a bona fide of Himachal Pradesh.
- The applicant should be a Student.
- The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribes Category.
- The applicant should have passed Class 10th.
- The applicant should be studying in a recognized institution within or outside the State.
- The applicant should have a Bank Account.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 11,000 Under the Scholarship, an amount of Rs. 11, 000/- will be given to each eligible student per year for successive years after matric. The Scholarships will be given to the top 100 girls and top 100 boys belonging to the tribal community of Himachal Pradesh.
Application
No application fee will be charged. Before initiating the registration process, students are advised to carefully go through the instructions of the State /NSP portal. Selection process
- First All the application form will be evaluated.
- After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done by authorities. Other Info Documents Required Applicants submit the following documents:
- Passport Size Photo
- Aadhaar Card
- Himachali Bonafide Certificate
- Previous Year(s) Result Card(s) from Matric onwards
- Latest Statement of the Student's Bank Account
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category Certificate Terms and Conditions
- Eligible students must apply using the prescribed application form along with their Matriculation and Tribe certificates.
- Applications should be submitted through the Head of Institution (HoI).
- The HoI will review and forward duly completed applications to the Deputy Director of Education (DDE).
- The DDE will compile a list of all eligible students within their district and submit it to the Director of Higher Education before the deadline.
- In exceptional cases where the HoI is unavailable, students may submit applications directly to the DDE of their district.
- The DDE will then verify eligibility with the student's institution before processing the application.
- It is the primary responsibility of the HoI to ensure eligible students within their institutions complete and submit application forms.
- The HoI should handle the application process efficiently and meet deadlines.
- The Director of Higher Education will have the final say in resolving any disputes regarding eligibility.
- Applicants who disagree with the Director's decision can appeal to the Secretary (Education) of the Himachal Pradesh Government within 45 days of the decision.
