SYDNEY VICE CHANCELLOR INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
Sydney Vice-Chancellor International Scholarship is designed to reward meritorious international students. The scholarship scheme is applicable to the full-time coursework programs at the University of Sydney. 1. Recipients will be awarded 5,000 AUD or 2,82,829.30 Indian Rupee to 40,000 AUD or 22,62,419.12 Indian Rupee, depending upon their rank. 2. Australian citizens/permanent residents are NOT eligible for the Sydney Vice-Chancellor International Scholarship. 3. Applicable for all UG and PG programs at the University of Sydney. 4. For ongoing eligibility, recipients must maintain a Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65.

Award & availability
Stated amount: 2,262,400 Four Sydney Vice Chancellor's International Scholarship amounts are distributed based on a ranking against the evaluation criteria: Amount Duration 40,000 AUD One year; payable in 2 instalments 20,000 AUD One-semester 10,000 AUD One-semester 5,000 AUD One-semester Note: The distribution of a few scholarship amounts may be limited to specified cohorts. Students who receive the Scholarship will be expected to promote and market the university, program, and benefits of the scholarship. The Scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.

No Application Fee is required, you will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
- To apply for the Sydney Vice Chancellor's International Scholarship, students just have to complete an application for their chosen Bachelor's or Master's program. No separate application is required.
- The deadline for the upcoming UG and PG admissions at the University of Sydney is September.
Selection process
The selection committee at the University of Sydney Comprises of nominees of the Executive Director, Admissions Office, and Global Student Recruitment. Sydney Vice Chancellor's International Scholarship is majorly granted on the basis of the academic merit of an applicant. However, there are other factors that are taken into consideration such as:
- Extra-curricular achievements
- One-page SOP
- Scores of tests attempted to study in Australia
- Work experience (if applicable) Also, an applicant’s performance in the interview session (conducted for admission purpose) is also crucial.
