You must: an international student as defined in the Higher Education Support Act 2

This excludes Australian citizens and Australian permanent residents hold Indian citizenship and be a current resident of India have applied for but not yet commenced an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney at the time of application for the award. Note: You are not eligible if you are a permanent resident of Australia, or if you have previously held a University of Sydney India Scholarship. Background This program intends to foster the engagement between the University and India in our investment in research, collaboration with industry partners and deepening the commitment to education for students to achieve their full potential.

Stated amount: 41,919,250 The Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program worth of 500,000 USD or 4,19,19,250.00 Indian Rupee is available only for the Indian students to assist in deepening their bond with India. Facilities of the Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program are as follows:

1. A total of 28 Scholarships will be awarded to academically outstanding Indian students under the Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program.
2. 3x40,000 AUD for any USYD undergraduate degree of a maximum of 4 years.
3. 10x20,000 AUD first-year scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
4. 15x10,000 AUD first-year scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Terms and Conditions: Applicants should conform to the rules in the Higher Education Support Act 2003, for being international students. Moreover, this is a one-time scholarship and will not be renewed. A total of 28 Scholarships will be awarded to academically outstanding Indian students under the Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program.

No Separate application fee is required. The ideal candidate must register for admission at the University of Sydney before applying for the Sydney Scholars India Scholarships. The recipients can apply for the scholarship program only when the applicants have obtained their acceptance letter. The applicants must complete the Admission offer in all respects by the cut-off date of their scholarship offer round. The scholarship offer will be revoked if they fail to abide by the same. It is highly essential for the applicants to put forward a few supporting documents which can be mentioned below:
