The scheme "Swami Vivekananda Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojna" is a Scholarship Scheme by the Department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh. The scheme aims to support meritorious students in their pursuit of higher education. The Scholarships will be given to the top 2000 meritorious students of the General Category declared as such in the result of the matric examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education Dharamshala strictly on a merit basis in a recognized Institution within or outside the State. Eligibility
- The student must have cleared their class 10th examination from Himachal Pradesh Board.
- The student must have scored at least 80% marks in the class 10th examination.
- The student must belong to the general category.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- The student must be a regular in school.
- The student must not be under any other scholarship provided by the State government or any private organization.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 18,000 The selected students for the Swami Vivekananda Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana will get Rs. 18,000 per year. Scholarships will be given to the top 2000 meritorious students of the General Category.

Selection process
- Only the students of Himachal Pradesh State are selected for the scheme.
- The student must score at least 80% marks to be selected for the Swami Vivekanand Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana. Other Info To help the financially unstable students achieve their dreams the Himachal Pradesh State government launched Swami Vivekanand Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana. Students who are currently pursuing professional or technical courses in a government-recognized college can apply for Swami Vivekanand Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana. A total of 2000 meritorious students will be selected for the scheme. Only the students who belong to the general category will be selected for the scheme. The duration of Swami Vivekananda Utkrisht Chaturvedi Yojana is 2 years. Documents Required Applicants submit the following documents:
