SOF ICSO (INTERNATIONAL COMPANY SECRETARIES OLYMPIAD)
The International Computer Science Olympiad (SOF ICSO) is an annual academic competition organized by SOF for students in classes 1-10 to assess their knowledge and skills in computers and information technology. The curriculum of the SOF Olympiad is designed to provide young students with a platform to identify and nurture their academic talents in the field of computers, preparing them for the competitive world from an early age. Olympiads, as prescribed by NEP, facilitate the development of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and cognitive skills in students. Eligibility
Students from classes 1 - 10, enrolled in a school recognized by SOF are eligible for International Computer Science Olympiad (ICSO). Students from particular classes can appear for that class’s Olympiad only.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 25,000 AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL RANK SCHOLARSHIPS NO. OF AWARDS/SCHOLARSHIPS 1st *Rs.50,000/- Each + International Gold Medal**+ Certificate of Outstanding Performance 10 2nd *Rs.25,000/- Each + International Silver Medal**+ Certificate of Outstanding Performance 10 3rd *Rs.10,000/- Each + International Bronze Medal**+ Certificate of Outstanding Performance 10 * In case two or more students achieve the same international rank, cash award/scholarship in the applicable category will be distributed as under: For up to 10 students getting the same rank, award/scholarship amount will be distributed equally. In addition, each winner will be awarded/provided a medal (in the applicable category) and a Certificate. In case 11 or more students get the same rank, in lieu of cash award/scholarship, each winner will be awarded/provided scholarship of gifts worth Rs.1,000/- each + a medal ( in the applicable category) and a Certificate. AT ZONAL LEVEL RANK SCHOLARSHIPS NO. Application
A charge of Rs 125 (including 18% GST) towards cost of examination is payable by each participating student for Schools in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal, except a student suffering from any major physical disability or an Indian student whose parent was martyred during defence operations. Further the school may collect an amount upto Rs 25 per student towards honorarium of incharge, remuneration to teachers to teach, guide using study material supplied by SOF and other miscellaneous expenses. *US$9 (755 INR) for other countries **US$1 (1 INR) for other countries Students can apply Via Respective School Authorities.
