SIA YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP
SIA Youth Scholarship is a program that has been designed for the Students of India, China, and the students from all the nations of the Association of Southeast Nations (ASEAN). This scholarship is awarded to bright students for completing their Pre-University level studies in Singapore. A new scholarship has been created by the Ministry of Education Singapore to provide educational opportunities among students of Asian countries such as China and India. Under the SIA Youth Scholarship, the student will be provided with financial assistance to continue free University studies in selected junior colleges belonging to Singapore. The main aim of launching this scheme is to provide opportunities so that the children can develop their leadership communication and other life skills. This scholarship will help in bringing goodwill and understanding among the children of Asian countries. As we all know there are many students who want to pursue their higher education at universities that are situated abroad in India. But due to a lack of opportunities, they are not able to pursue education through universities outside India. By keeping this in mind the Ministry of Education Singapore has launched a new scheme known as the SIA Youth Scholarship. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to a student who belongs to Asian countries to pursue their higher education in select junior colleges in Singapore. The main objective of launching this scheme is to provide an opportunity to children to develop the quality of leadership communication and other life skill. Eligibility
The eligibility criteria to apply under SIA Youth Scholarship are given below
- An applicant should be a national of India.
- He/ She must be born between the years 2001 and 2003.
- The candidate must have passed their class 10 in 2020.
- An applicant must have an excellent academic record.
- An applicant must have scored at least 80% of marks in their 10th examination with English as a first language.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 153,856 The following awards will be provided to the selected students under the SIA Youth Scholarship
- The scholarship amount will be provided to the students for a 2-year duration leading to the award of the Singapore Cambridge General Certificate of Education.
- Rs. 1,53,856 (2400 Singapore dollars) will be given to the student as an annual allowance.
- Each selected student will be rewarded with a returned economic class air package.
- Rs. 32,053 (500 Singapore dollars) will be provided to the selected student as a settling allowance.
- The Complete school fee coverage will be provided to the student.
- Along with that the subsidized medical benefit and accident insurance coverage will be provided to the student.

Application
No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. Step 1: First, visit the SIA Website of SIA Scholarship India. Step 2: You will land on the home page. Step 3: On the homepage click on the Register button. Step 4: The registration form will appear in front of you. Step 5: Fill out the form carefully and click on Submit option. Step 6: After the successful registration, you have to log into the portal. Step 7: After logging in click on Apply For Scholarship. Step 8: The application form will appear in front of you. Step 9: Enter all the details that are asked in the form. Selection process
The following selection criteria are needed to avail of the benefit under the SIA Youth Scholarship
- Screening of the student’s application form for the academic record will be done.
- The list will be prepared by the concerned authorities based on academic records.
- The candidates that are available under this list will go to the selection test.
- The test subjects will be mathematics general ability mental ability and English language questions.
- The admit card will be provided to the students before the 2-3 weeks of the examination.
- This scholarship test will be conducted in Delhi in September.
- The student who cleared the scholarship test will go through the interview session
- This interview will take place in October.
- The selected candidates are notified about the selection.
- If the student has not received any notification then she has not passed the initial academic screening. Other Info
