SEYMOUR SCHULICH ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP
Seymour Schulich Academic Excellence Entrance Scholarship, offered by UCalgary, to UG students beginning studies in the field of Engineering. It is a merit-based scholarship that is open to only first-year students entering the University of Calgary.

Eligibility
A. Offered annually to undergraduate students entering first year in the Schulich School of Engineering. Renewable in the second and third years at the University of Calgary at $15,180 providing the recipient maintains enrolment in the Schulich School of Engineering and achieves a minimum GPA of 3.50 in the previous fall and winter terms based on a full course load (minimum 30.00 units) B. Exceptional academic merit C. Permanent home address is within 100 kilometres of the Calgary city centre. International students are also eligible.

Application
No Separate Application Fee is required to get this scholarship award. To be considered for Prestige and High School entrance awards:
- You must first apply for admission. You will be given access to the award application 24 to 48 hours after you have submitted your application for admission.
- You can access the award application through My UCalgary. You will need your eID and password which you created when you applied for admission.
Selection process
The selection is based on the merit that is considered taking into account:
- The academic record
- The admission application, and
- Scholarship application answering questions related to the motivation to apply for the course and award.
