SCOTLAND’S SALTIRE SCHOLARSHIPS

1. The scholarships will be awarded to citizens who are permanently and ordinarily resident in Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Pakistan, and the USA, and who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate one year Masters programme of study at the University of Edinburgh in subjects related to the following themes: ​​​​​​​a. Science. b. Technology. c. Creative Industries. d. Healthcare and medical sciences. e. Renewable and clean energy.
2. Please note that applicants for online distance learning Masters programmes will not be considered for this award.
3. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer by the scholarship closing date.
4. Applicants should not have completed an undergraduate degree in Scotland.

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. To apply for the Saltire Scholarships-

1. Applicants must complete the scholarship application online.
2. The application form requires three essays of 250 words each against questions that are- a. The reasons for choosing Scotland and the particular institution and program for study. b. Explain how Saltire Scholarships can help the candidate in the future and how the candidate can help in promoting Scotland for higher education c.
