SARLA DEVI SCHOLARSHIP
Sarla Devi Scholarship is an initiative by the Dharampal Satyapal Charitable Trust to support the education of meritorious students belonging to financially underprivileged families. The aim of this merit cum means scholarship is to allow students a chance for a better future. Students based around Delhi NCR can get a scholarship of up to INR 75,000 or tuition fees (whichever is less) subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the scholarship.

Eligibility
Students pursuing Science, Arts, Commerce, and Vocational courses can apply for this scholarship. Science 1. Students must be pursuing MBBS, Engineering, or Nursing from reputed colleges. 2. They must have an annual family income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs. 3. They must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12. 4. They must have opted for Science stream (PCB/PCM/PCMB) in Class 12. Arts 1. Students must be pursuing a degree in LLB, Psychology or Mass communication. 2. They must have an annual family income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs. 3. They must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12. 4. They must be from either Arts, Science or Commerce stream. Commerce 1. Students must be aspiring to pursue CA/CS. 2. They must have an annual family income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs. 3. They must have secured a minimum of 80% marks in Class 12. 4. They must be from either Arts, Science, or Commerce stream. Vocational courses 1. Students must be drop-out students willing to pursue vocational courses for employability (Mechanics, Electricians, Plumbers, Masons, Carpenters, Gardeners, and Tailors). 2. They must have an annual family income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 75,000 Students selected for the scholarship will receive the following benefits:
- 14 scholars from the Science courses will receive a scholarship of INR 75,000 or tuition fee (whichever is less).
- 50 scholars from the Arts courses will receive a scholarship of INR 20,000 or tuition fee (whichever is less).
- 40 scholars from the Commerce courses will receive a scholarship of INR 25,000 or tuition fee (whichever is less).
- 65 scholars from the Vocational courses will receive a scholarship of INR 15,000 or tuition fee (whichever is less).
- 14 scholars from the Science courses will receive a scholarship of INR 75,000 or tuition fee (whichever is less).
- 50 scholars from the Arts courses will receive a scholarship of INR 20,000 or tuition fee (whichever is less).
- 40 scholars from the Commerce courses will receive a scholarship of INR 25,000 or tuition fee (whichever is less).
- 65 scholars from the Vocational courses will receive a scholarship of INR 15,000 or tuition fee (whichever is less).
