RETENTION SCHOLARSHIP TO SC GIRL STUDENTS - PUDUCHERRY

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:-

1. Be a domicile of Puducherry
2. Be a female student
3. Belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category
4. Be studying in Classes 1 to 5 at a recognised institution of the state
5. Have an annual family income of less than ₹18,000

1. Domicile certificate
2. Passport size photograph
3. Self-attested copies of diploma/degree certificate
4. Caste certificate duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
5. Income declaration certificate from the parents/guardians

1. The benefit of this scheme will be available only to bona fide students so long as they continue their studies satisfactorily in the recognised institutions of this Territory. A student shall be deemed to be continuing her studies satisfactorily if she secures promotion to the next higher class annually,.
2. Students who are granted the above scholarships will be allowed to retain them till they complete that primary education.
3. The scholarship will be cancelled for any misconduct on the part of the scholar.
4. If a candidate is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement, her scholarship will be cancelled and the amount of scholarship paid will be recovered at the discretion of the Sanctioning Authority.
