RELIANCE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UG
Half of India’s population, or over 600 million Indians, are under the age of 25. Reliance Foundation is committed to strengthening young people’s access to higher education in India. Every year the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships supports 5,000 meritorious students based on a merit-cum-means criteria for their undergraduate college education, empowering them to continue their studies without financial burden. The Scholarships aim to enable students to become successful professionals and realise their dreams, unlocking their potential to lift themselves and their communities up and contribute towards India’s future socio-economic development. Students with a household income of under Rs. 15 lakh who are enrolled in first year (academic year 2025-26) of their undergraduate studies pursuing any subject stream can apply. The programme will also aim to encourage applications by girls and specially-abled students. Selected scholars will receive a scholarship of up to 2 lakhs over the duration of their degree programme. In addition to the scholarship grant, the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships will provide scholars an opportunity to be part of a vibrant alumni network and an enabling support system that will create a long-term impact on their lives and career trajectories.

Eligibility
You must fulfil the following eligibility criteria in order to apply: a. Be a resident Indian citizen b. Passed Standard 12th with minimum 60% c. Currently enrolled in the 1st year in a regular full-time degree course in any stream d. Students having House Hold income < Rs. 15 Lakhs (preference given to < Rs. 2.5 Lakhs) e. Aptitude Test is mandatory Following students are not eligible: a. Students who are in the 2nd year or higher b. Students pursuing their degree through online, hybrid, remote, distance or any other non-regular modes c. Students who have passed diploma after std. 10th d. Students pursuing 2 year undergraduate degree courses e. Students who do not answer the mandatory aptitude test or are found cheating during the test
Award & availability
Stated amount: 200,000 Selected scholars will receive a scholarship of up to 2 lakhs over the duration of their degree programme. Selection process
This will be three step selection process:
- Aptitude Test The online Aptitude test is mandatory for all applicants. Test duration will be 60 mins and will contain 60 Multiple Choice Questions. Components of the test include verbal ability, analytical and logical ability and numerical ability.
- Initial Selection First Level Selection Applications will be evaluated using a combination of aptitude test score, academic and personal information.
- Announcement Announcement of Scholars – Up to 5,000 scholars. All candidates will be evaluated on the basis of merit cum means. Other Info Scholarships Features a. Support meritorious students from all corners of the country with an undergraduate college education b. For first year students studying any stream of their choice c. Awarded on a merit-cum-means basis to meritorious students d. Up to 5,000 undergraduate scholars will be selected e. The total amount of scholarship available over the duration of the degree programme, will be up to Rs/INR 2 Lakhs f.
