PRE MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP TO ST STUDENTS - MIZORAM
Mizoram Scholarship is available to students domiciled in Mizoram which is the southernmost landlocked Indian state with a population of 36.49 lakh and a highly literate agrarian economy. The Samaj Kalyan Vibhag or Department of Social Welfare under the Mizoram Government plays a key role in providing Mizoram scholarship to all students who are studying at secondary, higher secondary, or higher level of education. The scholarships are divided into pre-matric, post-matric, and merit cum means. Eligibility
- They should be residents of Mizoram state.
- The students should belong to ST categories.
- The minimum marks in the last qualifying exam should not be less than 50%.
- The annual family income should not exceed ₹2,50,000.
- 30% of the total scholarship is fixed for girl candidates.

Application
No application fee will be charged. Step 1: Visit the NSP's official website. Step 2: If you haven't registered previously, register yourself on the site. Step 3: Complete the login form. Step 4: Select "PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR SCHEDULED TRIBES STUDENTS" from the menu. Step 5: The screen will open with the application form. Step 6: To complete the application, enter the necessary information. Step 7: Upload the necessary files. Step 8: Submit your application form.
Selection process
- First All the application form will be evaluated.
- After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done by authorities. Other Info Documents Required
- Aadhaar Number.
- A passport size photograph with signature of the student.
- A certificate (in original) of Scheduled Tribe duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.
- An income declaration by the self-employed parents/guardians, stating definite income from all sources by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper.
- A receipt in acknowledgement of the scholarship in the previous year on the form attached to the application only duly countersigned by the Head of the Institution/School concerned.
