PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR ST STUDENTS (CENTER SECTOR)-UTTRAKHAND
Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Center Sector), Uttarakhand is an initiative of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand, to provide financial assistance to ST students of Class 1 to 10. This scholarship aims to support the study of economically weaker students of the state. The Central Government of India fully funds this scheme. The selected students will receive an annual scholarship of up to ₹6,250. Eligibility
1- The applicant must be a student studying in Class 9th or Class 10th. 2- The applicant must be from Scheduled Tribe. 3- The Total Annual income of parents/guardians of the applicant (from all sources) must not exceed ₹ 2.50 Lakh per Annum. 4- The applicant must not be availing of any other scholarship by the govt.

Selection process
The selection of candidates is based on an application form. Other Info Documents Required: 1- Aadhaar Number. 2- A passport-size photograph with the signature of the student. 3- A certificate (in original) of Scheduled Tribe duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar. 4- An income declaration by the self-employed parents/guardians, stating definite income from all sources by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper. 5- A receipt in acknowledgment of the scholarship in the previous year on the form attached to the application only duly countersigned by the Head of the Institution/School concerned. 6- If the applicant had received scholarship under this scheme in the previous year then it should be a copy.
