1. To improve the level of education among the poor OBC students studying in Class I to X a scheme of Pre Matric Scholarship for the benefit of children belong to weaker section among OBCs. 2. Eligibility
- Candidate must Be In Class III to X.
- Parents/guardians from all sources do not exceed Rs.44,500 /- per annum.
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand and must be studying in a recognized school in the state.
- The applicant must ensure that his/her name in the form is not different from the name in his/her Aadhaar and bank account.

Stated amount: 1,000
- Class III to V- Rs. 600 /- per annum.
- Class VI to VIII- Rs. 720 /- per annum.

Selection process
The number of scholarships available for OBCs in a year is fixed and limited, so it is necessary to set priority for selection. Poverty is to be given importance in place of marks in selection (The applicant is required to submit an income certificate and in case of equal income, the qualification will be generated from the applicant's 'date of birth' criteria).
