Eligibility
- Only those candidates who belong to Scheduled Tribe are eligble for this scholarship.
- Scholarship are open to nationals of india.
- Student should have passed the Matriculation or Higher Secondary or any higher examination of a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education.
- The student should have a valid account in a Schedule Bank linked with Aadhar and Mobile number.
- The student should not be getting any other scholarship.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 1,200 Group I: All Degree and post graduate degree, post-graduation diploma courses recognized by UGC/ AICTE - Rs. 1200/- per month for Hosteller & Rs. 550/- per month for Day Scholar Group II: Professional Courses leading to Degree / Diploma Certificate in area like Pharmacy, LLB, BFS, Hotel Management & Catering , etc. - Rs. 820/- per month for Hosteller & Rs. 530/- per month for Day Scholar. Group III: All other graduate Courses not covered under Group I & II e.g. B.A / B.Sc. / B.Com etc. - Rs. 570/- per month for Hosteller & Rs. 300/- per month for Day Scholar Group IV: All post-matriculation level of non-degree Courses e.g. Class X and XII, ITI, Polytechnic, etc. - Rs. 380/- per month for Hosteller & Rs. 230/- per month for Day Scholar. Selection process
- All the eligible Scheduled Tribes candidates will be given scholarships.
- Scholarship will be available on the basis of merit only.
- Candidates belonging to one State but studying in another State will be awarded scholarships by the State to which they belong and will submit their applications to the competent authority in that State.
