Application

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. If you’ve applied for a master's degree programme for September entry, we’ll automatically consider you for this scholarship if your final transcript or marks sheet was submitted with your application. If you meet the criteria and are made a conditional offer of a place, we’ll inform you of the scholarship in your conditional offer letter. Once all conditions of your offer have been met and the tuition fee deposit has been paid, we’ll then confirm the scholarship award and issue your unconditional offer letter or confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS).

Selection process

The selection process is Application-based. Terms and conditions:

  1. You can only be in receipt of one scholarship or discount, and it’s only valid for entry in the current academic year.
  2. Scholarships awarded can’t be deferred. If you’re offered a scholarship and wish to defer your start date, you must re-apply for the scholarship and may not be awarded.
  3. Award of scholarships can only be made if completed applications and supporting documents are submitted before any deadline stipulated and if scholarships are still available to award at that time.
  4. Any offer of scholarship can only be awarded once you’ve completed the scholarship application process and once Plymouth University has confirmation that your qualifications meet the eligibility criteria (for all scholarships). We’ll only confirm your scholarship award once all the conditions of your offer have been satisfactorily met, and your deposit has been received. At this point, we’ll issue your unconditional offer letter and CAS number (if applicable) and will confirm to the UK Borders Agency the amount of fees you must pay.
  5. The scholarship value is in pounds sterling.
  6. The scholarship, if awarded, will be deducted from the overall tuition fee that you’re liable to pay, and this will be reflected on your unconditional offer letter / CAS statement (the document that is your unconditional offer and must be used when applying for your visa).
  7. The scholarship award can’t be used as a partial deposit or tuition fee payment, or in lieu of a deposit payment.
  8. You can only be awarded a scholarship if you’re a degree student enrolled in your course at the University – if you’re not enrolled, or if you’re an exchange student or studying only part of the postgraduate course, then you aren’t eligible, nor if you’re studying a masters program awarded by Plymouth University but delivered at a partner college, such as Greenwich School of Management or Schumacher College.
  9. Plymouth University International Office Scholarship Committee’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final. Students may be requested to submit additional documentation in support of their scholarship application.
