ONE YOUNG WORLD - ASTRAZENECA YOUNG HEALTH PROGRAMME SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is intended for young leaders who are aged 18-30 and are able to demonstrate:

1. Evidenced commitment to addressing health and wellbeing in a local, national or global community, with a specific focus on child and adolescent health and/or disease prevention and/or social determinants of health programming.
2. Leadership ability in championing and galvanising stakeholders around their chosen cause or issue.
3. A capacity for innovation and problem-solving that is entrepreneurial and values-driven.
4. Concern for local and global issues.
5. Experience working towards a shared goal through teamwork and collaboration.

Stated amount: Not Available What does the Scholarship provide:

1. Access to the One Young World Summit in Munich.
2. Access to an exclusive Youth Health Programme pre-Summit workshop.
3. Hotel accommodation in Munich on a shared basis October.
4. Return air or rail travel for scholars living outside of Germany.
5. Catering which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner October.
6. Ground transportation between Summit venues in Munich.
7. Discretionary funds to cover reasonable out-of-pocket expenses connected with getting to and from the Summit. Scholars can claim these after the Summit.
8. Reimbursement of Schengen visa application fee (if applicable).
9. Reimbursement of reasonable out-of-pocket expenses connected with travelling to and from the Summit.
10. Reimbursement of Schengen visa application fee (if applicable). Please note that scholars must pay the visa application and insurance fees themselves. They can then apply for reimbursement from One Young World. Expenses will be reimbursed within three months of the Summit. This year, AstraZeneca is collaborating with One Young World to offer 21 scholarships to inspiring young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany.

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.
