International English Olympiad (IEO) Eligibility Criteria Level 1: Students from classes 1 - 12, enrolled in a school recognized by SOF are eligible for International English Olympiad (IEO). Students from particular classes can appear for that class’s Olympiad only. Other than this there are no eligibility criteria. International English Olympiad (IEO) Eligibility Criteria Level 2: Only students from classes 3-12 are eligible to take part in the level 2 exam of IEO. There is no level 2 exam for the students of classes 1 and

REGISTRATION FEE: Schools in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal pay to SOF a registration fee of Rs 125* (including GST) per student / Olympiad towards cost of the examination. Schools may charge an additional Rs 25** per student towards the honorarium of charge, remuneration to teachers to teach and guide, and for other expenses. No fee is payable for students suffering from any major physical disability, or an Indian student whose parent was martyred during defense operations.

The SOF International English Olympiad is conducted at two levels: Level 1: The first level of the test is organized in the respective schools of the participants during school hours. 1. The level 1 competition is an objective-type test of 60 minutes duration comprising 35 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 1 to class 4 and 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 5 to class 12. 2. The question paper consists of four sections: Section-1: Word & Structure Knowledge Section-2: Reading Section-3: Spoken & Written Expression Section-4: Achievers Section 3. There are separate question papers for each class. 4. The medium of the test is English. 5. CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabi are followed for setting the test papers. 6. The exam is conducted during school hours. Level 2: Level 2 is conducted for students of class 3 to class 12. The qualifiers for the second round would include the following: 1. Top 5% of candidates, class-wise, who appear in the 1st level exam. In case of a tie of marks, due weightage to marks scored in different sections will be given. Each section is accorded separate weightage. 2. Top 25 rank holders class-wise & Zone wise. 3. Class topper where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam & scores 50% qualifying marks. In case registration is received section-wise, the top rank holder, irrespective of the section will qualify for the 2nd level. For section-wise registrations, the winner

The International English Olympiad (SOF IEO) is an annual academic competition organized by SOF for students in classes 1-12 to assess their knowledge and skills in English language and comprehension ability. IEO is held in two levels: Level 1, which is for students in classes 1 to 12, and Level 2, which is for students in classes 3 to 12. The curriculum of the SOF Olympiad is designed to provide young students with a platform to identify and nurture their academic talents in the field of English, preparing them for the competitive world from an early age.
