MOTHER TERESA SCHOLARSHIP (MTS)

Mother Teresa Scholarship 2024 was launched by the government of Kerala. The Department of Minority Welfare of Kerala state launched the Mother Teresa scholarship for the minorities of the state. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to the minorities in Kerala state so that they can pursue their higher education. All the students who want to pursue their education in paramedical or nursing diploma can apply for this scholarship. All the Students who clear the eligibility criteria can apply for the Mother Teresa scholarship by going to the official website. Only the permanent Student of the Kerala state can apply for the Mother Teresa scholarship.​​​​​​​ Under the scheme, the minorities of Kerala state will get financial assistance to students to complete their education. The minorities under the Mother Teresa Scholarship include Sikhs, Muslims, Buddhists, Parsis, Jains, and Christians. All the students pursuing their education in Pharma medical or nursing diploma are eligible to apply for the Mother Teresa scholarship. The selected students under the Mother Teresa scholarship bill get Rs. 15,000 per year from the Kerala government. Eligibility

  1. An applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala.
  2. An applicant must belong to a minority community such as Muslim, Sikh, Budha, Parsis, Jain or Christian.
  3. The annual family income of the candidates should not exceed more than 8 lakhs per annum.
  4. He or she must be an applicant for Nursing/ Paramedical Diploma courses.

Award & availability

No application fee will be charged. Step 1: The candidates should visit the official website. Step 2: They should click on the apply button available on the left side of the screen. Step 3: Next, they should fill in the online registration form by filling in their personal, educational, and bank details and creating a password. Step 4: The applicants should create a user ID and password before filling in the Mother Teresa scholarship application form. Step 5: Next, they should click on the candidate login button, enter the details such as the user ID and password, and click on the login button. Step 6: After logging in, the candidates should attach the necessary documents, including their photo and signature. Step 7: They should take a printout of the Mother Teresa scholarship application form for further use.
