MHRD BILATERAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIAN STUDENTS BY REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA

1. Candidates who possess or are currently enrolled in Undergraduate/Master’s/PhD Degree Courses may apply.
2. The age limit of applicants for short-term study stays is 26 years (the applicant may not complete 26 years of age before the end of the scholarship period) and 30 years of research work stay (the applicant may not complete 30 years of age before the end of the scholarship period).
3. Applicant must be a permanent citizen of India and should be currently residing in India at the time of applying. Candidates who have already been abroad for studies/training/specialization either on scholarships or on their own, for a period exceeding six months are eligible to apply.

Stated amount: 27,200 Details of the scholarship for the academic session are as under:

1. 300 EUR per month.
2. Free Accommodation in the facilities (student dormitory) of the Student Centre of the Universities.
3. Subsidized Meals @ 2.63 EUR per working day via the Student Organization of Slovenia. The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia is offering 24 man-months of scholarship to Indian students for the pursue studies in Slovenia.

Application Fee Information is not Available. Interested applicants are required to obtain a letter of acceptance (format available at http://studyinslovenia.si/study/exchange-programmes/) and fill out an online application form available at (https://ankete.cmepius.si/index.php/795238) to be considered eligible for award of this scholarship. Applicants should apply on the MHRD SAKSHAT Portal (http://proposal.sakshat.ac.in/scholarship/) to be considered for this scholarship. Candidates should keep the following documents at hand before applying on the portal:

1. Copy of Completely filled Application Form.
2. Letter of Acceptance in Prescribed Format.
3. Copy of Valid Passport (page with photograph).
4. One letter of recommendation for study stays or two letters of recommendation for research stay from Applicant’s Home University/Institute.
5. Copy of Degree Certificate and/or certified transcript.

In case there is more number of applications received than the number of scholarships available, the following criteria would be adopted for nomination: “Priority would be given to candidates who have completed their last qualifying examination from Institutes of National Importance (INI)/Central Universities (CU)/centrally funded Technical Institutes (CFTI)/National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited institutions and marks obtained therein.” Other Info Important Point

2. The MHRD SAKSHAT Portal does not allow candidates to edit/modify submitted applications. Candidates are hence requested to submit a fresh application if they wish to make any changes to their already submitted application.
3. The last submitted application of a candidate (submitted before the deadline) will be considered for assessment.
