Under the scholarship scheme, up to INR 2,50,000 is granted to shortlisted female scholars in equal annual instalments. However, the selected winners only get the scholarship amount if they have proof that they have passed the previous year's examinations. Further, the authorities granting this scholarship follow a systematic selection process. Once all the candidates have applied, their profiles are screened. The shortlisted ones then go through a process of telephonic interview based on the information provided in the application form. A proper document verification is also undertaken at this stage. Students who are successful in the telephonic interview round then undergo the video conferencing or video call round, wherein a jury round of interviews is conducted. At least one of the parents or guardians of the candidate is required to attend this video call round conducted by the L’Oreal India Team.
