LIVERIS ACADEMY UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship is offered for a bachelor's degree in the field of Selected subjects offered at the university. You can apply for this scholarship here. The deadline for sending your application is 31 Aug. This scholarship is provided by the University of Queensland (UQ) and the value of this scholarship is Partial Funding, up to AUD 10,000 and up to AUD 10,000 for travel support. This scholarship is open for Open to all nationals. This scholarship was established in 2019 by Andrew and Paula Liveris and is maintained by the income generated from an endowed fund. The purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support outstanding students in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or the integrated Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering program in any discipline at The University of Queensland. Eligibility
An applicant is eligible for the Scholarship if the applicant –
- Will complete, or has completed, year 12th in the two years before the year of award and achieves a minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank of 99.00 (or equivalent) for their 12th studies; or
- Has completed no more than one semester towards the Approved Program in the year of award; and
- Has not undertaken any tertiary study at Bachelor level or higher before enrolling in the Approved Program, other than studies in special university programs designed for secondary school students; and
- Is enrolled, or intends to enrol full-time in an Approved Program in the year of the award, or after an approved deferment of one year; and
- Does not hold another scholarship that the Director considers to be similar.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 553,434
- The value of the Scholarship is $10,000 for each year for which it is held (excluding any periods for which the Scholarship is deferred or suspended).
- Recipients may also receive up to $10,000 in travel support from the Liveris Academy for approved Gap Semester, exchange or internship opportunities. Number of Awardees: Up to 5.

Selection process
Candidate must be considered:
- evidence of academic achievement in courses undertaken in Year 12 and/or in an approved program
- quality of the short video and essay
- evidence of personal qualities including: leadership potential, community service and/or engagement alignment with the graduate attributes of the Liveris Academy demonstrated commitment to academic excellence demonstrated capacity and willingness to actively participate in, and positively contribute to, co-curricular activities at UQ demonstrated strength of interest in undertaking co-curricular developmental activities through the Liveris Academy
- any other matter the selection committee considers to be relevant to your future success at UQ and in your subsequent career. Other Info Termination of scholarship The University may terminate a Scholarship: (a) If the recipient does not show cause to the reasonable satisfaction of the Director. (b) Once the maximum duration of the Scholarship has lapsed. (c) If the student commits serious misconduct.
