Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Trust Scholarships are designed for Indian women, offering them an opportunity to pursue higher education at an international university. The scholarship program is applicable to the masters-level degree programs at the universities of the USA, UK, and Europe. 1. Eligible graduate students must have at least two years of work experience in a relevant field. 2. Students are required to email the Trust to request the scholarship application form. 3. Selections for the Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Trust Scholarships will be made after an interview session in Mumbai. It is important for all the recipients of the Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Trust Scholarships to submit proof of available finances, showing that they can cover their program’s fees and other living expenses. Furthermore, the trust will not assist the recipients to complete their visa process to the USA or UK. Eligibility
To be eligible for Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Trust Scholarships, you must fulfil the followings criteria:
- Indian women graduate from a recognized Indian university
- Should have a consistently remarkable academic university
- Applied for admission to reputed accredited universities/institutions in the UK, Europe, or the USA
- Minimum of two years of work experience Students applying or studying for part-time, short-term, or correspondence courses or have already connected their studies abroad are not eligible to apply for Lady Meherbai D Tata scholarships.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 800,000 A gift scholarship towards part of the tuition fee component is awarded to the selected student, approximate value ranges from rupees three lakhs to rupees six lakhs, based on the candidate’s performance in the interview. Each year, up to 10 women benefit from the Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Trust Scholarships.

Selection process
- After the evaluation of the applications, the Trust shortlists students for a personal interview with the Board of Trustees. Information regarding the date and time of the interview will be conveyed to each student via email.
- Since the Trust’s headquarter is based in Mumbai, all the interviews will be held there itself. The travel expenses for the interview have to be incurred by the students only. Other Info The Lady Meherbai D Tata Education Trust awards scholarships to Indian women graduates of reputed universities who wish to pursue higher education abroad. This support is specifically aimed at covering part of the tuition fee component.
