Eligibility

Applicants must possess a First Class degree or equivalent diploma of similar standard from a recognised University. Applicants must be Indian candidates who have secured admission or have applied for admission in reputable foreign universities for courses commencing from August.

Award & availability

Stated amount: 1,000,000 A maximum of Rs.10 lakh per scholar, awarded to the top 3 K.C. Mahindra Fellows A maximum of Rs.5 lakh per scholar, awarded to remaining successful applicants Awarded to the top 3 K.C. Mahindra Fellows.

However, you must update on the status of your application once your admission is secured. The application form cannot be changed once it has been submitted. Any information that needs to be updated can be sent through an email to kcmetscholarships@mahindra.com by quoting your application ID. The following documents are required to be submitted along with the application form.

  1. Letter of Recommendation: A signed testimonial from any one of the referees mentioned (in the references section) can be shared in the following manner.
  2. Copy of Admission letter/s: Please note that if you are yet to receive an admission letter, you may upload a word doc stating that you have applied for admission but yet to receive the admission letter/email.
  3. A short statement of purpose (SOP) as to the general aptitude and interest, the type of course the candidate would like to pursue and his/her ambitions and aspirations in life.
  4. Copy of GRE/GMAT Score (where applicable)
  5. Copy of IELTS/TOEFL Score (where applicable)
  6. Evidence of course and degree certificates along with Mark-sheets
  7. Rank certificate, if applicable
  8. Copy of 10th & 12th mark sheets
  9. Copy of the Passport
  10. Your latest C.

Selection process

All shortlisted candidates will be communicated by June, through an email. Other Info Guarator The guarantor should normally be a parent(s)/guardian of the candidate. In the case of a married person, the guarantor can be a spouse or the parents-in- law. In case parent/s/spouse are unable to be a guarantor, a guardian or any relative (i.e. any member of the family such as brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, uncle, and aunt (both maternal and paternal) or any other relative may be the guarantor). A non-relative may act as a guarantor, subject to the Director’s approval and submitting relevant documents. Statement of Purpose (SoP) We do not have any specific format, but we do expect a good SoP. The SoP should highlight your purpose of applying to a particular course in a particular university. Through the SoP we want to understand your life and motivation for your chosen career path and goals. This essay should consist a gist of what you have done, what you are doing right now, and what you intend to do in the future.
