KARNATAKA (KSBDB) - SAANDEEPANI SHISHYA VETHANA SCHEME
The Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board (KSBDB) has decided to offer student scholarship under the Sandeepani Shishya Vethana Scheme to facilitate the education of students of the financially disadvantaged Brahmin community by providing education and other fees, textbooks, electronic equipment, and other study equipment, hostel, transportation, and clothing. The scholarship is offered to pre-matric and post-matric eligible Brahmin students.

Eligibility
Candidates should be permanent residents of Karnataka State. Candidates should belong to Brahmin Families. Candidates possess a BPL document to apply.

Selection process
One of the basic objectives of the Board is to assist the education of students of the economically weaker section of Brahmin community. Application will be screened and eligible will get the benefit first. Other Info Facts About Scheme Establish an agreement with banks to provide soft educational loans at low / zero interest rates to eligible Brahmin students seeking higher education in India and abroad. Providing Day Scholar / hosteller Maintenance allowance and Fee Reimbursement for eligible Brahmin students studying in school/ colleges.
