Eligibility
The KCNS exam is applicable to the students of Class V-X of CBSE, ICSE & State board affiliated schools in India.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 100,000 There are 84 prizes to be won in 4 categories with 21 students in each category.
- 1st Prize: NASA camp for Top 21 students.
- 2nd Prize: INR One lakh for 21 students.
- 3rd Prize: INR Fifty-one thousand for 21 students.
- Consolation Prize: INR Twenty-one thousand for 21 students. There are 84 prizes to be won in 4 categories with 21 students in each category.

Click here for more information It is mandatory to completely and correctly fill out the profile information along with the profile photo and the school identity card of the current academic year /mark sheet of the previous academic year. Upon profile registration, you will receive an email with the Educharya user id and password on your registered Email ID & Mobile Number.
Selection process
The KCNS exam will be conducted in two stages; The first stage will be the online scholarship exam. The class-wise merit list will name the qualifiers. In the second stage, the qualifiers will have to go through the rapid-fire round through Skype / Video calling. (Applicable only to the qualifiers) In each prize category of 21 winners, 9 students will be from classes V-VII, 10 students will be from classes VIII-X, and one reserve category winner each from the wards of farmer & military personnel. The exam will have no negative marking for incorrect answers. The duration for each set of paper will be 1 hour. The final KCNS exam paper will be of 100 Questions. In each paper set, 50% of questions are of Science (including computer science), 30% of questions are of Mathematics and 20% of questions are of General Knowledge.
