Junior Science Talent Search Examination (JSTSE) is conducted by Science Branch of Directorate of Education, Delhi every year for the students of recognized schools of Delhi. A JSTSE application is available to students who are studying in class 9 and have attained 65% or more marks in class 8th. Eligibility
Any student of recognized school studying in Class 9th in Govt./Govt. Aided/Public/KV/Navodaya/NDMC and must have secured 65% marks in class 8th.

Application
No examination fee. An application form for this exam can be found online in the form of a PDF file. Intrested Students can download the JSTSE registration form from the official website. Though the respective school, applications will be accepted in an offline mode.
- Students must print out three copies of the application form.
- Every student is required to complete three forms.
- Next, they should provide the necessary documents in the attachment.
- After that, submit the application forms to the respective school authority.
Selection process

Nevertheless, the difficulty level of the exam is based on the level of class 9 students. The questions are based on the NCERT class 9th syllabus. The JSTSE will consist of two papers. The first paper will consist of general knowledge questions, while the second paper will include questions from science and mathematics. JSTSE examinations do not have negative marking and the exam will last 200 minutes from 10 am to 1:1:20pm. The PH students will be given 30 extra minutes.
