JOSEPHINE DE KARMAN FELLOWSHIP
Initiated in the year 1954 by late Dr. Theodore Van Karman, the Josephine De Karman Fellowship was a step taken forward by Van Karman for students who reflect his ideologies and equal interests. The Josephine de Karman Fellowship was established to help students with high scholastic aptitude and overall achievements.

Eligibility
- Be international students.
- Studying in the U.S. on a student visa.
- Be currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree at any university in the U.S. Undergraduate students, master’s degree students, and postdoctoral scholars are not eligible for consideration. Special consideration will be given to applicants in the Humanities.

Application
No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. Potential applicants should note that the competition for de Karman Fellowships is extreme. To be competitive, applicants should have outstanding letters of recommendation, significant early scholarly contributions, and have completed a significant portion of the dissertation at the time of application.
