JAMIA HAMDARD SILVER JUBILEE FELLOWSHIPS

Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post – doctoral Fellowship:

1. Candidates who have been awarded Ph.D. degree by a recognized University in the discipline relevant to research activities of Jamia Hamdard.
2. Have obtained PG degree in the first division (60% marks or equivalent grade).
3. Have published at least three research papers with first/co-first authorship in SCI/SSCI –indexed journal. The papers by the candidates from discipline other than social sciences, Islamic studies and humanities should have been published in the journals having impact factor more than
4. The number of publications can be relaxed in case of publication in high impact factor journals such as Nature, Science, Cell, NEJM etc.
5. Applicants who received the Ph.D. degree more than two years before the closing date of application will not be considered. Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship:

7. Registered or admitted in the Ph.D. program Hamdard in any of the Schools.
8. Candidates should have qualified NET-JRF/LS or equivalent test after PG qualification or have qualified GATE, GPAT with 90% or above.

Stated amount: 60,000 Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post – doctoral Fellowship ​​​​​​​

1. Remuneration: Rs. 60,000 per month (no other allowances).
2. Contingency: Rs. 50,000 per year. ​​​​​​​Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship

1. First All the application form will be evaluated.
2. After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.
3. Shortlisting of candidates will be done by authorities.
4. Short-listed candidates will be informed on and interview/interaction will be conducted. Other Info Other terms and conditions of Fellowship: ​​​​​​​
5. There will be no commensurate increase in fellowship in case other funding agencies increase the fellowship amount.
6. Attendance/leave record of the fellows shall be maintained by the Department concerned.
7. Active duty of the fellows will be signed by the Mentor and Head of the Department.
8. Any fellows found indulging in any activity which is considered anti- university/anti-national or in case he/she indulged in any criminal activity he/she will be debarred from availing the fellowship.
9. Fellows shall follow Research and Publication Ethics of the University.
10. In all publications the fellowship award must be duly acknowledged.
11. Fellowship will be governed by the 'Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Fellowship Guidelines, amended time to time. If the terms of the fellowship are acceptable to the selected candidates, they may report their joining to the Advisor (Research) within one month of issue of this letter.
