INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL STUDIES OLYMPIAD (ISSO)
The International Social Studies Olympiad (SOF ISSO) is an annual academic competition organized by SOF for students in classes 3-10 to assess their knowledge and skills in Social Studies. The curriculum of the SOF Olympiad is designed to provide young students with a platform to identify and nurture their academic talents in the field of Social Studies, preparing them for the competitive world from an early age. Olympiads, as prescribed by NEP, facilitate the development of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and cognitive skills in students. Eligibility
Students from classes 3 - 10, enrolled in a school recognized by SOF are eligible for ISSO.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 5,000 Awards Rank. No. Award 1st 1st Intl. Olympiad rank holder in each class will be awarded with a Cash Prize of Rs. 5,000/- along with a winner’s Trophy. 2nd 2nd Intl. Olympiad rank holder in each class will be awarded with a Cash Prize of Rs. 3,000/- along with a winner’s Trophy. 3rd 3rd Intl. Olympiad rank holder in each class will be awarded with a Cash Prize of Rs. 2,000/- along with a winner’s Trophy. 4th to 10th 4th to 10th Intl. Olympiad rank holders in each class will be awarded Medals of Excellence. 11th to 500th 11th to 500th Intl. Olympiad rank holders in each class will be awarded with the topper achievement certificate. 1th, 2th and 3th All Zonal Rank 1st, 2nd 3rd rank holders of all classes will be awarded with Silver Medals of Excellence 1st, 2nd 3rd Class Topper 1st, 2nd 3rd rank holders of every class of each school will be awarded with Medals of Excellence, provided the topper obtains at least 50% marks All All the participants will be awarded with the participation Certificate Reflecting their Class/Zonal/Olympiad Ranks and Marks. Awards are limited and subject to availability.
Application
Rs. 125 Registration Fee will be charged. Students should apply and submit the form for the SOF International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) at least 30 days before the exam date. Students cannot submit their applications individually. Applications will only be submitted via the schools.
