Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA) is inviting applications for various Scholarships. The Insurance Accounting & Systems Association, Inc. (IASA) is a non-profit, education association that strives to enhance the knowledge of insurance industry professionals and participants from similar organizations closely allied with the insurance industry by facilitating the exchange of ideas and information. The IASA Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide scholarships to students preparing for a career in the insurance industry. Scholarships are awarded to individuals at a sophomore level or above who are enrolled in a US-based four-year college or university with an insurance program or who are preparing to pursue a career in insurance. Eligibility
To be eligible for one of the IASA scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a candidate for a bachelor’s degree at a US institution with an insurance program or pursuing an insurance career
- Be currently attending a college or university and will have completed at least the first year of a four-year program (minimum of 24 credits completed by the time the scholarship application is submitted)
- Working toward a degree in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Finance, Information Technology, or Risk Management – all within an insurance program in pursuit of a career in insurance
- Have at least a 3.0 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale
- Not receiving full reimbursement for tuition from an employer or from any other outside source
- The scholarship applies to the academic year Current and former IASA members and their immediate family members are eligible to apply for this scholarship so long as the aforementioned eligibility requirements are met. Members of the IASA Scholarship Selection Committee and their immediate families are not eligible.

Stated amount: 3,350,200 Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) invites applications for the IASA Scholarship 2018 from the applicants pursuing bachelor's degree and preparing for a career in the insurance industry. The goal of IASA for this year is to award scholarship worth USD 40000 to the eligible candidates. Applications must be postmarked or date stamped by February 28 to be considered. Only the first 200 applications will be considered by the IASA Scholarship Selection Committee.

Selection process
The selection process involves an initial screening of applications to ensure that the application has been completed in full, and all instructions have been followed by the applicant. Failure to complete all required sections of the application, and follow instructions will result in disqualification of the application. Applications that meet all of the submission requirements will then be reviewed by the Scholarship Selection Committee. The IASA Scholarship Committee is a subcommittee of the IASA Industry Relations Committee. Applicants will be notified of the Scholarship Selection Committee’s decision by email on or before June . Other Info Students should be working toward a degree in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Finance, Information Technology, or Risk Management.
