IMFA BIPF PROFESSOR GHANASHYAM DASH SCHOLARSHIP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
The scholarship has been instituted by IMFA in the memory of renowned historian Late Prof Ghanashyam Dash. It is awarded by the Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation to facilitate higher education in the field of engineering and medicine at any Govt College in the year of admission. The scholarship covers 90% of the academic fees and related expenses for the entire duration of a 4 year course subject to an annual limit of ₹ 1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) i.e. maximum of ₹ 4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakh only) per recipient. Six (6) scholarships are awarded - two (2) for the children of permanent employees of the Company and four (4) for the meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families who are permanently domiciled in Odisha. Eligibility
- Permanent domicile of Odisha.
- Qualified entrance examination of JEE /NEET/ Liberal Art .
- Got admitted in the field of engineering, medicine or liberal art at any Government College in the year of admission.
- The combined annual income of the parents of the applicants must not exceed ₹ 8, 00,000/- (Rupees eight lakhs only) per annum.
- Preference shall be given to SC, ST and Divyang applicants.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 100,000 The scholarship covers 90% of the academic fees and related expenses for the entire duration of a 4-year course subject to an annual limit of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) i.e. maximum of Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees four lakh only) per recipient. Upon selection, scholarship payment will be made directly to the student’s bank account through RTGS/NEFT. Six (6) scholarships are awarded - two (2) for the children of permanent employees of the Company and four (4) for the meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families who are permanently domiciled in Odisha.
Application

- Mark sheet of class X.
- Mark sheet of qualifying examination i.e. Class 12th.
- Rank-card of the qualifying examination.
- Admission documents from the College.
- Income certificate from the Tahsildar / Competent Authority.
- Domicile certificate from the Tahsildar / Competent Authority.
- Caste certificate (in case of S.C./ S.T. if applicable) from the Tahsildar / Competent Authority.
- Certificate of Divyang challenged (if applicable), from the District Medical Board/ Competent Authority.

- Recent passport size colour photographs.
Selection process
The Scholarship Committee will evaluate all applications which shall normally be ranked on the basis of rank / percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination. However, the Committee will also take into account the financial status of the applicants in arriving at the final decision. The decision of the Committee shall be final & binding and cannot be challenged in any Court of Law. Other Info General Terms And Conditions

However, the Committee will also take into account the financial status of the applicants, and the quality of the institution in arriving at the final decision.
- The decision of the Committee shall be final & binding and cannot be challenged in any Court of Law. After being chosen as a recipient the applicant has to submit relevant supporting documents at the end of every semester or half yearly / annually depending upon the payment terms of the Institute within one month of declare of the result.
- The payment of the scholarship amount is at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee and cannot be challenged in any Court of Law.
- The Scholarship Committee has the express right to modify and/or substitute any part of the scheme or the whole scheme and/or withdraw the scheme in totality without prior notice or assigning any reason whatsoever. All decisions of the Scholarship Committee shall be final & binding and cannot be challenged in any Court of Law.
- The Scheme supersedes any existing scheme in force.
