HENRY SUTTON PHD SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -

1. Be a postgraduate student (Honours 1 or equivalent preferred) willing to pursue a PhD programme at Federation University.
2. Have current IELTS or TOEFL scores.
3. Meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements. Conditions of Scholarship-
4. These scholarships are for a period of three years.
5. Application is open to new International students only. Standard leave entitlements apply.
6. This position and scholarship are full-time, with no possibility of being undertaken part-time during candidature.
7. Students will be required to commit to a minimum of four days per week on campus and participate in occasional industry placement at key times during the term of their candidature. Referees- Please nominate two referees who can comment on your academic/scholarly/research experience and capacity. Referee reports must be returned to the Graduate Research School for your application to be considered. Any application without referee reports will not be forwarded for consideration.

Stated amount: 699,314 A total of 12 scholars will receive the benefits under this scholarship for a period of three years. It includes -

1. Full tuition scholarship at Federation University.
2. Stipend scholarship comprising a cash stipend of AUD 12, 500 (INR 6, 99, 314) per annum (paid fortnightly) and accommodation scholarship of AUD 12, 500 (INR 6, 99, 314) per annum.
3. Project support of AUD 2, 000 (INR 1, 11, 890) per annum (approved research expenses only).
4. Teaching opportunities within the School (optional). Twelve (12) International PhD Scholarships have been created for the School.

1. First All the application form will be evaluated.
2. After evaluation, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the scholarship.

4. The scholarship does not cover the Overseas Student Health Cover.
5. The scholarship and position is available for full-time online. There is no possibility for students to pursue part-time studies.
6. The students are required to commit a minimum of 4 days per week on campus and participate in occasional industry placement during their term.
7. The successful students may elect to be located at either Gippsland campus or Ballarat campus.
