HENLEY BUSINESS SCHOOL MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS

To be eligible for consideration for a Henley Business School Master’s Scholarship for the currrent academic year candidates must:

1. Have an offer for entry to a Master’s programme for the current academic year.
2. Not already be in receipt of a full tuition fee scholarship. Guidelines
3. This information applies to new master’s students taking up a place of study, who are eligible for consideration for one of the Henley Business School’s Master’s Scholarships
4. Please note that there are other scholarship schemes provided by the University of Reading, or external sponsors, for example Felix Scholarships or Chevening Scholarships. This information relates only to the Henley Business School Master’s Scholarship scheme.
5. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis whilst there are still awards available. Candidates are advised to submit their application as early as possible in order to be considered. It is expected that all scholarships will be allocated by July.
6. If you are awarded a scholarship you will be given a deadline by which you need to accept your programme offer in order to secure the scholarship. Should you not meet this deadline, your scholarship will be awarded to the next suitable candidate.
7. The allocation of funds is competitive and not all applications received will be successful. The decision of the Scholarships Panel is final and not open to discussion or appeal.

Stated amount: 882,856 The scholarships are awarded to exceptional students with brilliant academic profiles. A few scholarships are also awarded based on financial need. The scholarship amount for varies for each funding program:

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

1. Henley will review and consider all applications for a scholarship. No separate scholarship application is needed.
2. You will be notified by email if your application is accepted for a scholarship. We aim to respond to those who have been awarded a scholarship within 4 weeks of receiving your offer to study – this may fluctuate depending on the point in the application cycle.
3. Only successful scholarship awardees will be notified.
4. If offered a scholarship, it must be accepted within 4 weeks of the scholarship offer date. After this deadline, scholarship offers may be withdrawn and reallocated
5. Unclaimed scholarship funds will be reallocated, meaning that offer holders who did not receive a scholarship initially will be automatically reconsidered. So, if you did not receive a scholarship at the point of application, you are still eligible to receive a scholarship and will be notified automatically if you are subsequently awarded funds

1. Shortlisting and selection are based on academic merit and the candidate’s potential as demonstrated in the application form.
2. Applications will be reviewed by a member of the University of Reading Admissions Office and/or representatives from Henley Business School.​​​​​​​ Other Info Terms and Conditions
3. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the candidate’s potential as demonstrated in the application form.
4. Candidates in receipt of a partial tuition fee scholarship from an outside organisation or another University of Reading award (e.g. UoR Centenary Scholarship) can combine the scholarships, provided that they do not amount to more than the total cost of tuition. We will not award a Henley Business School Scholarship to anyone who already has a full scholarship (e.g. Chevening) to pay for their tuition fees. Scholarship recipients are required to advise us if their financial situation changes and they are subsequently granted a full scholarship from another source. The University reserves the right to withdraw all or part of the Scholarship and make no (or no further payments) if the student obtains substantial alternative funding from another source.
5. If a candidate is a University of Reading Undergraduate, or alumnus who graduated in the last three years, and is eligible for the Alumni Discount, they may combine the Alumni Discount with any scholarship awarded by Henley Business School.
6. Candidates selected for a scholarship will be notified by email and it is therefore essential that the University has up-to-date contact information. Upon being notified of an award, a candidate will be given a deadline by which they need to accept their programme offer. Upon accepting the offer and paying the required deposit, a candidate’s scholarship will be secure. If the offer of admission is not accepted by the deadline set the award may be allocated to another candidate.
7. If a Scholarship is offered to a conditional offer holder, then the award of the Scholarship will also be conditional on the student achieving the conditions of entry.
8. All Scholarships are applied in the form of a tuition fee reduction. There is no cash alternative to the tuition fee reduction. Scholarships cannot be deferred to future years and are for entry in the current academic year only. Master’s Scholarships are awarded for one year only. Should an applicant defer their studies to the next academic year, their application will be considered again in due course.
9. The Henley Business School Scholarships Panel’s decision is final and we are unable to consider requests for reconsideration. Henley Business School reserves the right to withdraw the Scholarship if students are subsequently found to be ineligible or if these terms and conditions are not adhered to.
