GOLDEN KEY GRADUATE SCHOLAR AWARD

The students must meet the below-mentioned criteria in order to be eligible to receive the golden key graduate scholar award:

1. Nationality: No restriction in terms of citizenship
2. Current full-time or part-time student in a post-baccalaureate program of study (Master’s or PhD degree-seeking program) at an accredited institution at the time of the application deadline (on or before 15 December).
3. Someone (student or alumni) who will start a post-baccalaureate Master’s or PhD degree-seeking program within a year of this scholarship’s application deadline. Proof of acceptance will be needed for this application.
4. Membership: Must be a golden key member (mandatory requirement).

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the grants, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program.

1. Go to funding.xhuma.io/auth/login and sign up using your details. You will receive an OTP to input and create your account. If you log out and return in the future, simply click on “Sign In” and follow the prompts.
2. Click on “Bursary Actions” and then click on “Input Code.”
3. If you are applying for the GK Graduate Funding Award, enter the code that appears on this page. (please note this code is only available if you are signed in on the website) Please be sure to fill out your complete profile information to tell us more about yourself. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Phase 1: Initial Application
4. Complete the Program Questionnaire within the online application. Phase 2: Shortlisted Applicants If you are shortlisted, you will receive an email requesting the following additional documents:
5. Personal Statement (no more than 5 pages): a. State which program you will pursue or are pursuing. b. Mention the university you have applied to or are attending. c. Indicate the status of your application. d. Specify when you plan to begin your program and the anticipated date of completion. f. If already enrolled, note this in your statement and list the program you are enrolled in. g. Address why you are pursuing post-baccalaureate or professional studies.
6. One Letter of Recommendation: From any of the following: a. A current university faculty or staff member who is familiar with your academic career. b. A current or former employer. c. A university or organization official familiar with your involvement in university or community service.
7. Copy of Acceptance Letter: If you are a current undergraduate student, upload a copy of your acceptance letter for the institution where you will be conducting your post-baccalaureate studies. ​​​​​​​

Applicants will be considered or selected on the basis of:

1. Motivation for Continuing Education: Why the student is pursuing post-baccalaureate or professional studies.
