GODREJ ARCHIVES RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN BUSINESS HISTORY

Post-doctoral fellowship:

1. Scholars who have shown significant competence in research work, having been awarded their Ph.D. and have done equivalent research work of merit in History or its allied subjects, and desire to work on approved research themes under the guidance of the review committee.
2. The applicants for the Fellowship should be affiliated with a University or a research institute of repute. General Fellowship: Postgraduate scholars who have shown significant competence in research work, have published research work of merit in History or its allied subjects, and desire to work on approved research themes under the guidance of the review committee.

Stated amount: 125,000

1. The selected research fellows will be awarded a fellowship of Rs. 1, 00, 000 (TDS applicable) for a period of one year and the selected post-doctoral fellows will be awarded a fellowship of Rs. 1, 25, 000 (TDS applicable).

1. A detailed synopsis (Five copies) of the proposed research topic should be submitted (both soft copy & hard copy) along with the application letter and requisite documents/certificates.
2. Self-attested copies of the certificates of educational qualifications date of birth, research experience, and signed copy of checklist, etc.

1. On the basis of the experts’ assessment (if recommended), selected candidates shall be required to make a presentation for half an hour on the proposed subject of research.
2. The award of the Fellowship will be decided by a Review Committee of specialists, on the basis of the expert’s evaluation of the proposal and the presentation made by the candidate.

4. Conduct research at Godrej Archives located in Mumbai, at the archives of the CSSSC now located at the institution’s new unit at 10 Lake Terrace, Kolkata, and other archives in India relevant to the topic.
5. Present their work at seminars/ conferences organized by Godrej Archives and CSSSC.
6. Publish the research paper under the Godrej Fellowship Programme if deemed qualified by the review committee for publication.
