GLOBAL KU STUDY ABROAD SCHOLARSHIP

Undergraduate SEP & VSP applicants must:

1. Be enrolled in an acknowledged institution outside of Korea, in a country that is recognized by Korean government.
2. Have obtained a successful admission for SEP or VSP at Korea University.
3. Have completed and submitted all the required documents for the application.
4. Have enrolled in KU with the required credits Undergraduate, minimum 12 credits Graduate, Flexible However must take at least one course in graduate school.
5. Be fluent in either English or Korean. (For Merit Scholarship) Have taken minimum 12 credits in previous semester at KU and achieved 4.0 or above in accumulative GPA.

Stated amount: 99,077 For New Exchange Students (University Level Agreement only) - The type and amount of scholarship will be decided by Korea University

1. Admission Scholarship: Starts from KRW 100, 000 (INR 6, 112) up to KRW 1, 600, 000 (INR 99, 077) for the first semester.
2. Travel Scholarship: Starts from KRW 100, 000 (INR 6, 112) up to KRW 1, 500, 000 (INR 92, 886) for the first semester. For Continuing Exchange (University Level Agreement only) / Visiting Students (Merit only) Merit Scholarship: Awarded on the basis of academic merit of the first semester at Korea University, KRW 1, 200, 000 (INR 74, 319) for the second semester. Only applicable to exchange/visiting students who participate in one-year program in university wide level. Applicants should have taken minimum 12 credits (for graduate students at least one graduate course must be included if taking below 12 credits) in previous semester at KU and achieved 4.0 or above in accumulative GPA. No. of scholarships is subject to availability, please visit official website.

No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. For new incoming exchange student in University Level Agreement:

1. Prospective students interested in applying for the Global KU Scholarship can download the application form from the Global KU Study Abroad Scholarship website.
2. All documents must be written and provided in English. Please attach translations in English if the document are in any other language.
3. Documents submitted with the application will not be returned to the applicant.
4. Letter of recommendation needs to be given from a person who can support your academic performance. 5. Completed Global KU Scholarship Application From (attached).
6. 1 Passport-sized Photograph.
7. Letter of recommendation.

1. The Awards Committee considers several factors when making its decision, including not only academic factors, but also geographic and strategic factors.
2. All decisions are final and cannot be overturned.
