GLOBAL GOOD FUND FELLOWSHIP
The Global Good Fund Fellowship is a 12-month hybrid leadership program for social entrepreneurs around the world. We accelerate leaders who relentlessly tackle the most pressing social issues to create a more sustainable and just future for all. Each leader receives professional executive coaching, c-suite business mentorship, USD 10, 000 (INR 8, 39, 435) to spend exclusively on their leadership development, customized tools, resources, training and networking opportunities to scale their social impact. We invest in leaders who are committed to driving positive change and have ambitious goals. Those who despite the obstacles will not let anything get in their way of progress, even during the toughest of times. Each Fellow is paired up with one dedicated professional executive coach and one dedicated c-suite executive who serves as a business mentor. Over a 12 month period Fellows connect with their executive coach and business mentor. Eligibility
- The enterprise the candidate leads has been in operation for a minimum of two years.
- The enterprise employs a minimum of two full-time, paid employees.
- The candidate’s role if that of a primary decision-maker, i.e. the role you hold is: a. C-Suite (CEO, COO, CTO, CFO, etc.) b. Co-Founder/ Founder & C-Suite. c. Executive Director.
- The candidate is committed full-time to running the enterprise.
- The enterprise the candidate is leading is mission-driven, meaning that the sole objective is not to make a profit but also to have a positive impact on society.
Award & availability
Stated amount: 839,435
- Targeted Funds Each Fellow receives a USD 10, 000 (INR 8, 39, 435) grant. These funds are to be used explicitly for the implementation of his/her Leadership Development Plan and on leadership development with a special focus on experiential learning.
- 360° Assessment Fellows take GGF’s proprietary leadership assessment and gain a panoramic view of their leadership skills.
- Executive Coaching (Virtual) Fellows use the results of the 360 assessment as a starting point to work with their executive coach and create a personalized Leadership Development Plan.
- Business Mentorship (Virtual) Fellows are matched with a C-suite business executive, who serves as a mentor, and receives intensive 1:1 support to help them successfully grow their business.
- Annual Summit (in-person) Fellows participate in an Annual Global Good Fund Summit each spring. Our summit is a 4-day curated leadership development experience that combines training, networking and bonding among Fellows, alumni and valued members of the GGF ecosystem.
- Peer and Subject Matter Expert Network Over the course of 12 months, Fellows are part of a global cohort of leaders positively impacting the world. GGF facilitates intentional opportunities for Fellows and alumni to engage and learn from each other as well as a variety of industry experts so that they can be best equipped to address complex challenges. Application
No Separate Application or Fee is Required to get the scholarship, it will be automatically considered, once you enrolled for the program. OUR APPLICATION PROCESS: Every year our Fellow recruitment process initiates in May for approximately 6 weeks. The overview of the application process is made up of 3 phases. A brief summary of each phase is included below: Phase 1: Preliminary Questionnaire- May – June
- A series of short-answer questions that aims to assess the applicants alignment with our Fellowship criteria
- Time it takes to complete: 30 minute approximately Phase 2: Comprehensive Application- July – August
- A mandatory video submission where we ask you to share your story with us
- 2 recommendation letters
- Financial viability template
- Short answer questions related to these topics: a. Impact measurement b. What your enterprise does and what makes it unique c. Leadership potential and coachability d. Time it takes to complete: 1-2 hours approximately Phase 3: Interview- October – November
- A 30 minute video interview

Selection process
We are looking for leaders who are scaling their enterprise and are seeking to develop their leadership capacity in tandem with the needs of their organization. Leaders should be eager to be coached, possess a growth mindset and are excited about personalized mentorship that will drive their business and teams to success. Ideal candidates must be able to fully commit to us and our 12-month hybrid program. The Global Good Fund Fellowship is open to social enterprise leaders based anywhere in the world, who are trying to make the world a better place through business. Ideal Fellows are dedicated to their own self-discovery and development, under 40 years of age, hold a leadership position at their social enterprise, operating for 3-5 years and demonstrate-coach ability. Other Info Additional Considerations-
- The enterprise the candidate is leading can be a for-profit, non-profit or hybrid.
- The enterprise’s scope of work can be international, domestic or both.
- The enterprise has developed an effective business model and is therefore well positioned (or is able to provide evidence that demonstrates a high level of potential) to scale in the long-term.
- The enterprise is addressing issues in the following sectors: Financial Technology, Environment, Education, Economic Mobility, and Health. However, we will consider applicants who fall outside of these areas as related to their potential for social impact and systemic change. 5.Candidates should not be receiving formal coaching/mentoring support; if they are applying for other fellowships within the same fellowship cycle, please make sure it is indicated within your application.
